Super Six: Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell are the truth

Andre Ward insisted on home field advantage in the Super Six. He gets nothing from me. He should have fought Kessler in Denmark seeing as Kessler was the champ.

Watching Dirrell against Froch I really thought he was going to struggle, not saying he lost that fight or bringing it up again but I saw alot of bad decisions from Dirrell in that fight. It's all about how he responds from it, Hopefully he will treat it as a learning experience and not let it derail his career.

After the first series of fights obviously Ward looked very impressive but im still not sure about him. For sure we will learn more and more about the boxers as the tournament goes on.

Right now I like Abraham and Ward but we will see.

During the Ward fight I started feeling sorry for Kessler. Ward simply outboxed him and you can't blame it on the ref, hometown, or the alcohol. It was the same with Dirrel/Froch. Dirrel was simply the best boxer and he outboxed Froch (it wasn't even close). Dirrel did complain a lot but he was the better boxer and Froch stood flat footed and took a good "azz whupping."

Someone had a clip of Dirrel studying tape on AA and they were showing the AA and Jermain Taylor fight. He made some really good reads on the film but whether he can capitalize on it is another question.

But Ward is very impressive.

I think Abraham is better than Dirrell, but Ward is the best fighter in the tourney. This is his coming out party.
