lol this thread is still alive? That's sad. I agree that Cortez sucks, but he didn't throw Hatton into Floyd's right hand all night. And its not like Hatton was getting the best of Floyd when he did get inside. It was actually the other way around.

The fight will have certainly ended with a TKO/KO win by Hatton if it werent for the the timely interfering by ref Cortez everytime Hatton seems to be taking Floyd where he wants him to be.



The referee should be at least honored by Floyd fans as he exerted extra effort in refereeing while at the same time making sure that Floyd can execute his plan.

Early in the fight Cortez wasn't allowing either fighter to hold in the inside and was breaking them as soon as the held which was bad
But as the fight went on Mayweather was fighting well on the inside. The two knock downs had nothing to do with Cortez sorry.

Take it from the other man inside the ring, Hatton. He still blames the ref for that fight. Which is why he's been entertaining a rematch with Floyd. He still thinks he can beat Floyd.
