Is there a worse big name promoter than

    Gary Shaw?

For instance, after the brilliant KO of Darchinyan, he basically let Nonito sit on the shelves fighting what are basically nobodies.

He always wants to jump into the camera and take away the spot light from his fighters.

"lay on me Chico, just lay on me".

    "There will be no rematch".

I don't know, say what you will about Arum, or even a blast from the past in Don King, but they don't get any crummier than Gary Shaw.

hes' a douchebag and an attention whore but i think he's more willing to take risks with his fighters than other promoters.

I don't know about that. I forget which fight it was, but immediately after, he kept jumping in and saying, "no rematch, there will be no rematch". Then when the fighter was asked, the fighter said, "yea, I'll do a rematch".

That was talking about Darchinyan-Donaire II because he didn't want to give Donaire another shot at being #1 after he was "unloyal" and left the company.

That said, Gary Shaw is the best promoter for fan favorite fights. Look at his track record with Dawson, Bradley, Darchinyan, Perez, Rafa Marquez, and others. They fight any and everybody.
