I was just scouring BoxRec and came across this dude. Undefeated flyweight, he's defended the WBO flyweight belt 17 times. Not a word is ever spoken about him. Anybody recommend and fights with him?
What can you guys tell me about Omar Andres Narvaez

I did some research a few months ago and found that he is currently the longest running titlist in the world having won his title back in 2002 yet I have actually never seen him fight.Comment

He has good defense and is a well rounded boxer. I do agree that he has defended his title against B level guys(at best). The reason why you haven't really heard about him is that, like many other argentinians, he doesn't fight abroad and Argentina is a horrible place for foreing boxers fighting a local champion.Comment

He's a good boxer, fast enough hands and better defense, has what it takes to make it big, but needs further exposure to do so.
I remember when he fought Rexon Flores way back, he totally outclassed the filipino.
Is he part of a major promotional outfit? He needs one, so he can have the similar exposure like his compatriots Maidana and Martinez, coz he's not getting any younger, clock's ticking.Comment

I made a thread requesting his fights in our videos section and quite a few were posted.
- He has a unique style and he's fun to watch. He really schools his opponents.
- He's defended his title in several European countries.
- He's fought decent opposition, people haven't heard of some of his opponents because those weight classes don't receive much media attention.
- He's at a height and reach disadvantage with most of his opponents, but outboxes them anyway.

I've seen a little bit of Cesar Seda, but he looks legit, could turn out to be a very tough fight for him.Comment
