Do you think that the outcome of most matches these days
would be different if instead of 12 round fights we had 15?

Instead of 10-8oz gloves we had 4-6?

In my opinion, I think the rules and regulations are better these
days since it makes a fighters career longer instead of just
taking a LOT of punishment in their fights. But hey back then
they could withstand it and have a rich fulfilling career.
So my question is..

Do you think boxing is better now or back then?

Fighters would train to fight 12 or 15 rounds; they would modifiy their training for the amount of rounds they fight.
4 or 6 oz gloves just sounds crazy and would lead to more injuries and death; or maybe just quick 1 punch kos?

i think alot of match outcomes would have been different but also lead to more deaths or injuries

Back then the talent pool was much deeper in the 20s-80s a lot of your potential boxers these days never lace the gloves up they play basketball football baseball,i love boxing but its just not as deep as it use to be. as for the 4-6 ounce gloves that would not be good people would die.
