He have never seen nor was watching boxing when he was fighting because If you did you wouldn't make a ****** comment like that. Austin was too green and by the time he made a name for himself, Pac was at 126 (not to mention Austin was only 20-21 at that time).

BTW I know what a pure boxer is but Im just curios as to why you guys don't consider Marco Antonio Barrera a pure boxer. I have seen MAB lean soley on boxing skills and box his way to a UD. I would name fights, but you already know I'm not here to educuate new boxing fans (such as yourself).
Man **** off you are not Bert Sugar. I been watching this sport since I was a kid.

When did I say Pac ducked Austin???

No Barerra is not a pure boxer. Why? Becaus ehes easy as hell to hit. Ask Junior Jones.

Notice how the definition of a pure boxer gets smaller and smaller.

I would think having many dimensions to your game makes you a more pure boxer.

      It's a silly label.

um....you know floyd is fighting mosley and floyd himself hasnt said a thing about mosley and has only been able to talk about pacquiao since signing the fight.

I have repeatedly said Clottey has a chance..just not in this thread. If you wanna know why then It's simple; Clottey has the lead right and Left hook...two of the best punches to have against southpaws. Pac has struggled in the past with boxers w/ a good right hand (EM and JMM) and also Clottey will outweigh pac on fight night by almost 20lbs.

Has he fought pure boxers? Yes and he knocked them out. Any at Floyd's level, no.

Yes I have as well and i think he does because of the same reasons you stated, but never have i seen his style up against Pacquiao's so i simply wanted a point of reference.

MAB , and Morales are bralwer boxing punchers. JMM is a boxer but not a pure one. He throws way to much and hes easy to hit.

Pac has never fought one. When he fights Floyd it will be the first. We'll see what hes made out of.
As far as I remember Judah is the best pure boxer on mayweather's resume. David diaz decision him at amateurs & Cotto beat the crap out of him.
