Man, you still refering to the MARQUEZ fight...unlike most fighters, PACQUIAO has gotten better since the last fight with MARQUEZ...CLOTTEY is no cake walk, but the guy does not throw enough punches to put the pressure on another fighter. I do believe that he will pressure PACQUIAO, till he gets hit with one or two solid hooks from PAC, then CLOTTEY goes back to his old self again....Doesn't matter if PACQUIAO knocks him out anyways, cause all you haters will just accuse the man of being on roids, even though he has never failed any of the same test that all boxers take. GUARANTEED, if PACQUIAO and MARQUEZ happens again...he can counter punch all he wants, PACQUIAO will destroy MARQUEZ...I doubt that MARQUEZ hits harder than COTTO...and we know what MARQUEZ brings to the table above 140lbs...no power, plenty of piss juice....Clottey can beat Pacquiao by not engaging him but
waiting for Pac to come in, set up and pick him apart.
If a fighter doesn't go after Pacquiao then Manny is
confused on how to work his way in. I saw it in the
Marquez fight. Boxers can expose Pac but brawlers
get done off because Manny is too fast and punches
non stop. Clottey is going to have to set up traps
for Manny to get caught in and apply pressure when
Manny is off his game.

WTF? He threw over 400 punches across 8 rounds. Had it gone another 4 rounds Oscar would have thrown 600+ for the whole fight. "Rarely threw a punch"? No, rarely landed a punch. There is a difference. 600+ punches thrown is an average amount. The problem he had was Pacquiao made him miss and he couldn't deal with Manny's speed or southpaw stance.
So, your comment above is bollocks. especially considering your user name.
And who's fault is that? Pacquiao's? The tone of your post seems like your criticizing Pacquiao for his opponents' mistakes and lackluster performances.Hatton(who just threw caution to the wind and gave his chin up for the taking),
Pacquiao outboxed Cotto, beating him to the punch consistently, because Cotto isn't fast enough. Cotto's boxing actually wasn't good enough, so yeah, why not try plan B or even C. That's normal. If a fighter fights one way for a while and it isn't working, isn't the best thing to do change the plan? Bottom line with this though -- it doesn't really matter what Cotto did or didn't do, he would have been beaten anyway.and Cotto(who decided that boxing wasn't good enough so he decided to mix it up).
Whatever man, you got a vivid imagination, I'll give you that. You clearly don't know much about Pacquiao's fighting style. He isn't off-balance. He is anything but off-balance.Clottey will jab and throw that lead right and keep a tight defense then he will go to the body and throw his uppercut. Manny will hit the floor in this fight because Clottey will catch him jumping in. Manny's always off balance when he throws his punches because he never sets his feet. That could be a positive and a negative. In the Marquez fight it was a negative but in the Cotto fight it worked for him. A counterpuncher will time him and he will get knocked down. It won't matter if he is hurt or not. That's a 10-8 round when it goes to the scorecard.
Clottey will most likely be beaten to the punch and outworked.

Pacman is going down March 13
clottey can win this fight because when i watch Pac he takes advantage of Orthodox fighters who fight from there left side which is a big advantage for the southpaw Orthodox fighters like Hatton Oscar and Cotto had problems with pac because fighting from the orthodox stance throwing left hooks against southpaws don't work that was their money punch also southpaw fighters give orthodox fighters problems because their punches come from unexpected angles side to side in and out the way clottey will beat this by doing what Erik Morales and Marquez did Orthodox fighters who lead with right hands not left hooks some jabs and rights hands will win the fight for Clottey.Comment

Pacquiao has improved but he still has problems with Boxers.
Cotto showed this when he elected to box and not brawl.
The problem was that Cotto couldn't keep it up. Pacquiao
is a fast, aggressive and offensive fighter that is successful
off of his opponents aggression. I still see the same style
in Pacquiao but he has learn a few new tricks but the Marquez
Manny is still there. Why do I have to be a hater to give an
opinion about boxing on a site that is all about boxing? Just
because I didn't big Manny up? Clottey has a defensive,
counter punching style to nullify Pac but he has to let them
hands go because if he doesn't then Pac will out hustle him
in the ring for the win.Comment
