Fans Only Build Up Fighters Floyd Hasn't Fought

The way this sh-t works is every fighter is a beast up until they fight Floyd that is. Seriously, every guy who hasn't fought Floyd is built up by fans as the Floyd Killer, a beast, the most feared fighter in boxing. As soon as Floyd signs to fight them, they become handpicked bums.

Well its true, when Floyd fought Zab he got criticized for not fighting the tougher Baldy, yeah its true, dont rewrite history chumps. Hatton was the guy who made Kosta Tsyzu quit and pretty much fell to bum status following his Floyd experience. Oscar gets a pass on all his defeats prior to Floyd, and its written off as Nard was too big, and his previous losses could of went either way etc....but only after losing to Floyd is he called a part time over the hill fighter.

Shane Mosley, 2 months ago Floyd is supposedly too chicken to face him, and now that the fight is signed, Shane is Old, hasn't fought in a year, and its only cause he's forced to do it. I guess he's going to be forced to whip Shane's azz to hunh?

As for every other fighter, well if Floyd never fought them, then its cause Floyd ducked them of course, no matter who they are or what their worth.

        Fans aren't building anyone up.

Fans wanna know why Floyd only cherrypicks easy, winnable fights for big money on HBO.

        he brought it on himself.

Crikey. What PBF fans aren't crybabies around here? This **** is disgusting. I like watching him but these threads make me think PBF himself is posting here with multiple accounts.

Imagine if Floyd fought Paul Williams the so called Most Feared, Floyd Killer, Mayweather Kryptonite, etc...If Williams fought Floyd and lost in the same fashion Floyd beats all his opponents, he is immediately demoted to Bum Status. Only reason these hater even bring up his name is in Hope that he can beat Floyd. NO Floyd=No mention of Paul Williams on messageboards.

No one built up Zab to be a killer, cos he wasn't. He'd already dropped a few Ls when Floyd fought him, one just prior to Floyd, against a glorifed journeyman (Baldomir) who also happened to fit the mould of the kind of opponents Floyd likes to face, so he fought them both; a great 2006 for him. Beat Judah, who's never really beaten a top guy save for Spinks, then beat Baldomir, who's never really beaten a top guy save for Judah (ignore the DQ over Clottey)

                Great

then Floyd fights Oscar, which is simply for the money. Don't try and paint that as a great victory, because no1 was bigging up Oscar at the time. Oscar hasn't looked great since, hell, probably the Vargas fight way back in 02.

I give Floyd some credit for fighting Hatton, Hatton was the man at 140, he was unbeaten and in his prime. It's just a shame the fight was at 147 because Hatton's not a welter and in his 2 fights at that weight he's gone 0-2 IMO; and looked bad (he looked bad v Collazo also)

I wont even mention the Marquez fight, as we know Floyd was fighting a little guy. He even said it HIMSELF: 'He's a great small man...I'm a great big man. That's the difference.' LOL, way to go, Floyd...

So if you get a job offer paying you $15 per hour cutting grass and picking up trash,
and you get another offer at $20 per hour doing office work.

                  Which one would you pick.

There is no way that anyone in their right mind would pass an opportunity to fight De La Hoya. and for a title in another weight class.

He beat Judah and Bladomir. There were #1 and 2 WW.

Why did it take Pacquiao 4 years to fight Marquez for a second fight?
