I've heard those terms associated with fighters such as Manny, Fernando Vargas, Erik Morales, Sven Ottke, Klits, Margarito, etc...

However, when African American fight fans use terms like "African American style of boxing" or any other race related superlative, it's shunned upon or even called racist.

      What's up with that?
because with black american fighters if someone were to say "black power" or black warrior it would be called racism but with pinoy power it is PERFECTLY fine.

You know the reason Kirkland got that moniker was not because of his boxing ability, but because he looks like a young john amos who played the adult version of kunta kinte in roots right???

if you shaved off kirkland's goatee he'd be a straight clone of him.
