Why should Clottey win this fight? Pacquiao is much faster than he is and punches very hard. Pac is constant movement, constant angles and constantly throwing punches.

I wouldn't think a style like that would be favorable for a guy as methodical and unspectacular as Clottey is.

Obviously you have been listening to others opinions of Clottey without watching his fights and forming your own opinion. Clottey jabs for one. The jab knocks Pacquaio off his rhythm. Clottey has a nice straight righ and we all know that punch calms down any southpaw. Clottey counters for two. Counterpunches keep Pac's head snapping back. Clottey has defense for three. He will not take flush shots from Pac's assault. This will frustrate Pac. Clottey goes to the body and the head. He uses a different assortment of punches i.e jab, uppercut, straight right, left hook, and left and right to the body.

Speed is not everything. I would take timing over that. Watch all of Pacquaio's fights..he is usually the fastest in the ring but he seem to get hit a lot. He was faster then Marquez and Cotto but still managed to get beat to the punch on occassions. He punches harder? The jury is still out on that one.

never in life will the corner quit.i also favor manny to win the fight but clottey is not a game, all of his losses are his fault no one has actually ever beat him up and he is better than everyone he and manny has fought
