Below is a letter which I have written to the BBC asking them to return British Boxing to the BBC. I will add the link for this to the BBC, as a sort of Petition....
I have never felt the need to write to a TV company in my life before, but due to the lack of support for our British boxing champions (Carl Froch, Amir Khan & David Haye) I feel that I must.
The lack of coverage for the above boxers for the UK public is disgusting and I cannot believe no-one is prepared to pay for the coverage for the for coming event of Carl Froch Vs Mikkel Kessler and many others.
You frequently broadcast many sports programs on your channels but boxing seems to have been forgotten over the past few years, boxing is a worldwide sport just like football or the F1, and we should be able to support & watch our British champions like the old days of Eubank & Benn.
I am writing to you today to ask for British boxing to return to its home on the BBC. I look forward to your reply.
