Reading some predictions after the fact, i was pretty damn impressed with "Imfamous's" prediction of the Morales-Barrera fight. Speaking of boxing pundits, who do you think is some of the most knowledgable "experts" out there? Kellerman? Manny Stewart? Lampley?...

I join the chorus: That Infamouz call is Impressive!!!Originally posted by Colonel JonesReading some predictions after the fact, i was pretty damn impressed with "Imfamous's" prediction of the Morales-Barrera fight. But speaking of pundits, right before the second Vernon Forrest-Ricardo Mayorga fight, THE RING (magazine) got together 20 experts and asked them for their individual take. 16 went for Forrest, only 4 gave it to Mayorga.
The experts list included:
Pro Forrest: (The ones who got it wrong)
Manny Steward (Hall of Fame trainer!)
Sugar Ray Leonard (Who doesn't know him?!)
Jim Lampley (HBO)
Arturo Gatti (Who doesn't know him?)
Eric Bottjer (C. Kushner matchmaker!)
Buddy McGirt (former championship caliber fighter and now award-winning trainer!)
Kermit Cintron (Welterweight)
Vivian Harris (Jr. Welter)
Antonio Diaz (Welterweight)
Anthony Thompson (Welterweight)
Max Kellerman (ESPN)
Dan Rafael (USA Today)
Tim Smith (New York Daily News)
Calvin Watkins (Dallas Morning News)
Cameron Dunkin (Manager of Fighters)
Carlos Arias (Orange County Register)
Pro Mayorga: (Those who got it right)
Victor Bague (Producer of Telefutura Solo Boxeo)
Ricardo Jimenez (Hispanic PR of Top Rank and former sports ed of La Opinion)
Calvin Watkins (Dallas Morning News)
Demarcus Corley (Jr. Welter)
+ Two hispanic "experts" (Carlos Arias and Antonio Diaz) thought Forrest would win; the two others (Bague and Jimenez) went for Mayorga.
+ Two non-hispanics (Chop Chop and Watkins) also voted for Mayorga.
We all know how that fight went...
So much for those named experts...I'll take Infamouz from here on!!!

Given the amount of predictions -- many fringing on the ridiculous -- Infamouz makes, he's bound to get one right every now and then - Laws of averages had to give way eventually. That is to say: Not all that impressed here.Comment

I second Atlas. He is always on point. One example is he did overviews on the US's boxing team before the games started and was on point with everything, even saying that out of all the hopefuls that Ward had the best chance at gold.Comment
