Baldomir-Cotto at 147

People don't realize how solid of a chin Baldomir had and he keeps coming forward, bigger fighter than Cotto. Cotto has problems/does not like bigger, come forward fighters.

Cotto handled Margarito quite well for a while. He beat Clottey. Baldomir is skillfully limited, has slow hand and footspeed and doesn't hit hard. Cotto embarasses him and probably stops him late.

Cotto would tear apart Baldomir to the body. His chin can be as hard as it wants, but Carlos is a walking punching bag.

Cotto was in his prime against Margarito, therefore we saw him with a superb mentality. And against Clottey, he barely pulled it off because Clottey did not know how to finish. Baldomir would have jumped on that eye the whole fight, not letting up. I agree that Baldomir was limited, but it was his awkward punches/stance that set him apart.

Why are poeple making a case for a shot Cotto? The same Cotto who if he gets clean runs the rest of the fight?

The same Cotto who ran out of gas vs. Mosley, Clottey and Pacquiao.
