I think it will be a close fight. At the end I see pac winning a close decision, I can't see pac dominatting clottey

if clottey loses I want to see clottey vs. Pwilliams
U started off good but shouldn't jump out of context just because a Floyd rider got u upset!!Mosley is the best at 147,period!!Floyd was lucky enough to have tragedy strike in Haiti,to get a shot at Molsey, which he was hesitant to take!!Mosley is the livest & most daunting of tasks at 147,he deserves respect!!

no it's not solely because Cotto beat him

we at great length went and broke down why Clottey isn't going to be very competitive in this fight

its not about who beat whom moreso than his style does not lend to him being competitive

he doesn't punch often, he doesn't employ a great game plan, his stamina is questionable, and his mental make up is such that he will let Manny lead all night

        that spells 9-3 for Manny

Pac better keep fight in center of the ring and not try to test clotteys power. And clottey is a damn good fighter on the ropes so best move for pac is to keep fight in the center.

Clottey needs to throw good combinations and counter pac. And try not to use any dirty tactics.

I'm a huge fan of both clottey and pac. But Idk who to bet on.

          P.s. I'm putting 10K that pac doesn't KO/TKO clottey and ill give 2-1 odds.

I think clottey will surprise most and i give him a real chance of pulling off the upset against pac but i also thought that oscar and cotto would beat pac so im already 0-2 when betting against manny. as far as the posters with agendas and the casual fans who dont watch boxing unless its proceeded by a 24-7 countdown who gives a **** about their biased **** opinions clottey pac is a good fight.

Pretty much!!! I don't see what Clottey brings to the table that will give Pac trouble with the way Pac fights. Pac moving in and out throwing combos and turning Clottey. Clottey then finally bringing down his guard to try and counter but its too late Pac out of range. Wash and repeat.

Clottey's only chance is a early KO. That will only happen if he catches Pac because Pac misjudged and was still within Clottey's punching range and get caught off guard thinking he was out of range.

Maybe because he just destroyed Diaz, DLH, Hatton and Cotto in succession without even breaking much of a sweat.

ever think that it's the Manny fans trying to hype this as a great win as well?

I think both sides are guilty of lessening and making this fight more or less than what it is

flat out this is a decent challenge to Manny but we all clearly know that Clottey does not have the make up mentally to sustain a competitive fight with the elite. We have seen it time and time again when the chips are down instead of grinding, Clottey folds it up.

He had Cotto in the bag and chose to coast.

He had Margarito and chose to complain about hands that weren't broken

He had Baldomir and chose to foul

Hell he even gave away rounds to the likes of Chico Gutierrez and Alvarez

Physically he can be imposing but he doesn't use it at all to his advantage

so Manny will have his way with Clottey not because he is the bigger stronger man but because Clottey will let him

shaking your head indicating you didn't get hurt doesn't make you elite

winning the fights you had does

Josh Clottey's prime is a decision loss vs. a shot Miguel Cotto?

                    Boom. Headshot.

It's an easy fight for Pac. There is no other way to twist it. Clottey just lost to Cotto. I know you can't use triangle theories, but Clottey is even more made for Pac as he is so stationery. Pac will move in throw his combos and move out before anything gets thrown back. Clottey is well known to concentrate on defense and forget to throw.

I don't see how anyone could think Clottey will be a challenge for Pac. Out of all the perfect opponents top rank and Roach have chosen, this is by far the best choice for an easy win.

I hope I'm wrong and Clottey shocks everyone. The Pac hype train has gone to far on this site. I'm not a Mayweather fan BTW so let's just end that here.
