    Why all the GBP dissing??

Golden Boy Promotions gets the job done if you ask me, their job is to promote the fighter they have under contract. They do a good job hyping the **** outta their fighters but its up to the fighter alone to live up to the hype, also fighters have their managers and advisors and lawyers, they ask for a fight and GBP has to do whatever they can to get their client the fight they want or a road that leads to it, I know this because my cousin Hylon Williams is under GBP and he tells me how the **** work.

    gbp deserves to be dissed.

they're what made hbo so crappy the last couple years.

giving gbp blank dates killed hbo.

The live Execution of Plasterito and JMM vs Diaz more than made up for it.

yeah but isn't that the fault of HBO? I'm sure Top Rank, et al would have accepted the same exact **** if HBO offered them the chance instead.

Golden Boy is good for the fighters I suppose but it seems to me they have become the big powerful promoting organization that is just as dirty and slimy as the others in which golden boy was intended to be everything but in the first place!

YoungReezy, I would love to know the inside story on how GBP got Maidana to sell himself short with the crappy 3 fight Amir Khan avoidance deal. I turned right off GBP over that. It is one thing promoting a fighters career another ruining another fighter's best chance of ever becoming a World Champ. That is going too far and Oscar as a former fighter should know better.

i doubt hbo made that offer on their own.

you know the golden goose probably requested it and hbo had no choice.

Well im not Oscar so I cant answer that question, although I do see him quite often, but since Maidana does not interest me, I will not waste my breath asking him.

I have no idea I have only seen Richard like twice, Oscar has ever mentioned Pac when he visits the gyms over here. The only thing he said was that the day he fought Pac he felt light headed, weak and his body was not takng in any fluids, whatever he drank he would pee out right away, therefore they gave him an I.V to try and rehydrate him over night but it made no dfference, and that he felt helpless in the ring, his body didn't respond.
