no offense, Benn is a good fighter, but KO'ing Hagler,
is a bit too much to ask.

On the otherhand, in boxing anything can happen.
i was wondering the same thing haha

benn is good..but KOing arguably the best p4p chin of all time?

id take hagler by decision or late stoppage

i think the boxer would beat the brawler in this one, plus hagler is tough as hell
benn would make it a good scrap but i dont think he has enough advantages to take this one

Hagler was a very underrated boxer, and would be able to outbox Benn and possibly stop him late.

I think the reason people under rate Haglers boxing skills is because his fights with Hearns and Mugabi. But Hagler takes this in my opinion and im saying that as a big Benn fan

              Great fight.

I agree with the guy who said it would be like Benn vs Eubank 1, only more in close with both being wobbled, with Hagler by late stopage.

I think Nigel possibly stops Hagler 2-3 out of 10 fights, based purely on the fact that EVERY man can be stopped, especially against a ****er like Nigel. If Hagler underestimates Benn, thats when he gets stopped ala Barkley, McClellan or DeWitt.

Hagler is also on record saying Nigel is one of the hardest middleweights of all time. He said this after watching Benn smash his cousin Robbie Simms.

It would have been a great fight.

ps. f%ck Toney being a middleweight great. He was a lazy, slothful lucker who woulda been beaten by both Benn and Eubank. Toney is super hyped at middleweight when he was in fact, boring and very lucky most of the time.

                .
I dont even see Benn's best shots stopping Hagler. Stunning him maybe, but not stopping him.
Hagler had a good defence. And as champion didnt underestimate anyone.

If Hagler chose to KO Benn then i think he would eventually. If he chose to box Benn it could be interesting as Benn was faster and could box decently.

I dont see Benns chin holding up for 12.

Hagler breaks him down and stops him in 6.

A complete mismatch, not fair to Benn to put him in with a fighter as good as Hagler.
