How many of you run into morons that scoff when you mention boxing, and tell you "boxing is dead", and then you find out they are UFC-nuthugging, bandwagon jumpers. They try to tell you boxers are punks because they wear padded gloves, and that MMA has more action. I watched boxing for ten years before MMA really got rolling, I watch it too but definitely prefer boxing. Boxing haters dont seem to realize that just as high a percentage of MMA fights go the distance as do boxing matches, despite the fact that MMA fighters dont have padded gloves. I feel that nine times out of ten, a boxer facing a comperable MMA fighter will knock the MMA fighters lights out the second he shoots for a takedown. The only good example I can think of is Tim Sylvia getting his clock cleaned recently by an over the hill boxer. How do you guys deal with people who mistakenly tell you "boxing is dead"?

I hate the mma fans that say o boxing is dead, there is so much action in ufc fights. I also heard a good one boxing is so 90's lol what the hell does that mean. Some Ufc fans that I know are the most ignorant people when it comes to boxing it disgusts me actually cause they **** on it but have no facts they just say it's boring and it sucks. But on my half I don't know **** about mma nor do I act like I do but mma fans act like they know **** about boxing when they don't pisses me right off.
