I don't blame Roach and pac for refusing this test, it is not required by the comission that governs boxing and until it is, he should not have to adhere to this just to appease Floyd. if Floyd has a problem with this he should make an appeal to the comission, and if they deem this necessary nthan so be it. Until than he should shut the f**k up and color. No one man is bigger than the sport and floyd is not the one to implement this. I don't want to hear anything about Shane being willing to submit to this: First Shane has proven to be positive of PED's in the past. Second he has no choice, and he would agree to anything to get a major fight. Shane unlike Manny has no other options, and once again has already tested positive. Don't get me wrong I like Shane but in his position it is not as outrageous. That being said if he refused it I would not hate on him because once again it is not required by the comission. Boxing needs to contract out it's testing to WADA or the USADA....this gives boxing instant credibility and avoids conflicts of interest...

because there's something called the weighin. where fighters already drain themselves to a certain degree to make weight.

Taking blood before the weighin could lead to further dehydration and/or could lead to a fighter who's actually overweight to making weight because of the lost bloodweight.
