      Boxing would suffer immensely.

My friends are casual fans and they don't even care about Floyd fighting anyone outside of Pac and Mosley, so if it became Mosley-Clottey, boxing would lose that casual appeal maybe forever.

I honestly don't see Mosley winning the fight against Mayweather Jr. therefore I'm pretty sure this fight will never happen!!! In the other hand the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight has a greater chance of there being an upset though i really doubt it!!! but if Clottey and Mosley were to fight I think Clottey would win a decision easily!!! Mosley is not that fast only when he has a stationary target infront of him but when opponents move he seems to have problems with them because he can't seem to land punches and hold after which is what he does best !!! therefore i would say Clottey would take this easily!!!

i think clottey would have a good chance against mosley but i dont see how he could take that fight easily with mosleys chin and workrate this would be a interesting fight even if they both lose but if they were to win this **** would be huge for boxing. mosley isnt exactly an unknown among casual fans and a win over floyd would make him a true superstar and a win over pac for clottey gets him worldwide attention. boxing doesnt live or die off of one fight or fighter.

Yes and yes. I would definately want to see it if these two won their respective fights and yes it would hurt the sport.

Its a good fight but "superfight"= makes alot of $$$$ regardless of how good the fight is or how good the fighters are even.

So yeah I would be interested but boxing loses a big payday with this as the two top guys fighting for the #1 spot.

How is he hurting boxing if he's the biggest ppv draw in the sport
right now? In fact he and manny pacquiao are the only ones keeping
                  it mainstream.

It would hurt the sport but its a good fight. Only hardcore boxing fans would watch this on ppv thou.

I'd definitely watch it and it would not hurt boxing at all. Just another great fight to watch on a Sat night
