Which one of these 4 great could you see the great Bodysnatcher beating? Mike was around the same time these guys were thriving in the sport in fact, he was trained by Emmanuel Steward when Tommy was still with him. Mike could have very well fought these four, they were all in their respective primes at the same time. Some experts believed that they were ducking Mike so, thats why he never really got the big fights until MUCH later on.

McCallum probably beats Duran at 154 in 1984 if they had fought. McCallum left Steward when Steward had Hearns and Duran fight as both were champs at 154, and McCallum was Duran's mandatory. Steward said that Duran wouldn't bother to fight him when he had a fight with Hearns on the table, and he was probably right. Mike later took it out on another Kronk fighter in McCory.
Leonard is a question mark since he was inactive for so long, and had up and down performances at 154 (McCallum's best weight). He struggled in his bout with Howard at 154 in 1984. Three years earlier he looked better at 154 against Kalule.
Hearns-McCallum would be a great matchup. I tend to think Hearns's speed, particularly being more mobile than Mike, and his outstanding ability to box on the outside would enable him to win a decision.
I don't think McCallum beats Hagler. Maybe the older Hagler was showing some decline, was slower on his feet, and easier to hit. McCallum was a better JMW than MW. -

He could probably beat Duran since it's well above Durans ideal weight but the other three would batter him.Comment

Manny Steward new damn well McCallum would have absolutely tooled Tommy, thats why that fight never happened. It might have been competitive early but Mike was the better fighter and all of the insiders new it.,
Also he would have put it down on Duran. McCallum was a HUGE 154, and maybe the best 154 fighter of all time. At that weight Duran would not have had anything for Mike.
Leonard and Hearns are another story. Competitive fights, not really sure how to call them.Comment

Yeah I heard about that as well. Theres a McCallum interview on Youtube where he says that Steward gave McCallum a photo of Hearns and said thats the closest you will ever get to Hearns, lol
I think McCallum beats all of them except HaglerComment
