Gotta go with Vitali, he's the only one I have never seen so much as wobble, and he took some bombs from Lewis.
Who has the Best Chin in boxing?

i know bute put him down, but if you watched the kessler/andrade fight, andrade ate as many clean, hard shots i've ever seen a fighter take without going down. i think he deserves it cuz unlike all the fighters on this list, his chin IS his defense.Comment

yea dude i was in complete awe that bute put him down, i was like damn cant noone **** with bute...Comment

Yea, Andrade's chin is ridiculous. He really wasn't even hurt when he went down against Bute and Mack but of course Bute found out his Achilles heel (the body) while doesn't really count as "chin".
If him and Margarito had the defense of a Mayweather or Hopkins, I doubt we'd ever see them even remotely buzzed through their entire careers.Last edited by βetamax; 02-23-2010, 03:33 AM.Comment

Hopkins seems to have a good chin because the rare times he does get his flush, he takes the punches very well. However, like I said, he rarely get's hit so it's hard to gauge just how good his chin is. I guess in the category of "Who's the best at avoiding getting hurt" which would be more of a product of defense + chin, he'd have to be somewhere at the top.Last edited by βetamax; 02-23-2010, 03:44 AM.Comment
