Will Pacquiao still be able to beat Clottey weighing 170lbs?

I'm watching the Clottey-Cotto fight again and heard Lampley say that Clottey went from 147lbs to 170lbs when he fought Corrales. If that's true, I mean sure, Pac is confident in his ability to beat a bigger fighter and so is Roach in Pacquiao, but over 20lbs of the weigh-in limit on fight night? That's crazy. Will that ultimately be too much for Pacquiao? I thought Clottey was like every other WW that's fought Pacquiao, claiming the same bs about size and strength, but if he's done it in the past and won pretty damn good against Corrales, could he do it again?

Man that **** has blown out of proportion. First of all Corrales-Clottey was at 149. Some journalist after Corrales-Clottey I forget who it was said that there were rumors that Clottey re-hydrated back up to 170 on fight night. Thats all there was to it, no fight night weights were shown and every body has been riding on that journalists comment. Clottey has not and will not weigh 170 for his welterweight fight.

He'll be able to use it to his advantage. I'm just wondering how he'll do with Clottey's power, I mean sure it wasn't much against other fighters but against Pacquiao we'll see.

The more I think about this fight, the more I do think an upset might occur. We shall see.

Lampley is no journalist. He proly ****ed up when someone said Clottey entered camp at 170.

The fight was at 149 and how do you think they know Corrales re-hydrated up to 160?

Is it physically possible to rehydrate and put on 23 lbs in 1-1/2 days? That's a lot of food and water to consume in a short period of time.

Ok fair enough. I wanted to take a shot at Lampley but you are right.
