I've always been a big believer in Chambers. You can look back over my posts and see that I predicted he would beat Peter and I even said that it was very possible he would knock Dimitrenko out. People laughed at me when I said it and then Eddie damn near did it.

However, he stands little to no chance of beating Klitschko. If you watch the Dimitrenko fight there were plenty of times when you saw that Eddie had a hard time dealing with the size and strength advantages of the bigger man. Many times Dimitrenko was pushing Chambers back two steps with punches that were only half landing.

Also, we saw that when Dimitrenko was ready to go and fading fast Chambers failed to close the show on a very vulnerable opponent. Even in his best performance to date he still showed a tentativeness in letting his hands go and spent a lot of time standing in front of his opponent.

Where Dimitrenko lacked the skills and accuracy to exploit Chambers bad habit of standing around and trying to pick off shots Klitschko does not. He will batter the much smaller man with pinpoint punches that will be like nothing Eddie has ever felt before.

As much as I love Chambers, and even though I feel he is much better than Wlad's recent opponents, his fate will be no different and maybe even worse. Klitschko is too smart and too good to squander his physical advantages and will take Chambers out before the 8th round.

Chambers said he will use more foot movement and he won't stand in front of Wlad like he did against Dimitrenko. In a recent interview, Chambers said he gave his performance against Dimitrenko a B. Chambers knows he did some things against Dimitrenko that he should not do against Wladimir. Chambers will not fight Wladimir the same way he did against Dimitrenko.

It's one thing to say it and another to do it. Chambers has a couple bad habits and Klitschko is a patient man.

When guys try to move around Klitschko and make him miss they end up backing up all night and not throwing any punches.

If Chambers thinks he can outmaneuver Wlad all that means is the fight is gonna be a stinker like the Ibragimov fight where the smaller man never lets his hands go.

There is only one way to beat Wlad and that is to get inside and batter him. It takes a unique set of skills. Chambers just isn't the guy for the job.

If Chambers can somehow become a prime Evander Holyfield, he sure can. Chambers has a unique style of frustrating and bringing the fight against much taller boxers, he was constantly getting inside Dimitrenko and landing power punches. And he was constantly moving forward, never moving back. He's not exactly a small heavyweight who strictly boxes, and he's nothing like Ibragimov either, he's a much better then Ibragimov.

No Eddie has been fat his entire career but ever since he started working with former head of BALCO Victor Conte he has somehow managed to get into great shape.Hmmmm.......

I wonder if there will be Olympic-style testing for this fight?
