I'm convinced Devon Alexander and Timothy Bradley are the only fighters at 140lb with any type of heart. Timothy should definitely fight Devon once he unifies, before he had nothing to offer but as a unified champion who actually wants to fight him, you can't turn that down.

smh @ Khan talking about "I'm too young to fight Bradley" while Alexander is younger and on his way to unifiying and isn't afraid to fight anyone.....the rest of the division is just a bunch of cowards...FACT
So fcuking true. Bradley is the man at 140. It's incredible that with him being promoted by Shaw and having Showtime around, he can't get anybody to fight him!!

I believe Gary's side of the story 100%. Arum doesn't know where the lie ends and where the truth begins anymore.
everybody with a brain knows arum's a ****ing snake. he's not interested in promoting the best fights, when he has to deal with other promoters. arum is only interested in matching his fighters up against one another, so he'll end up taking home more than either fighter.

i don't understand how ppl don't see this by now.

Too much bull**** in your post, when this is simple.

Either he takes what is available for him and STFU or he can complain and whine and sit on his ass while the others tangle.

He can fight 1 of those guys I mention as a tune up and then he can get the winner of one of this fights.

I think there is plenty of competition out there for Bradley at 140. If Valero moves up then he's just an added fighter to the list. Nate Campbell, Ricky Hatton, or Devon Alexander would be a great match up for Bradely. I will give Bradely about another year and he will be campaigning at 147. The big bucks are with the WW. Bradely has the physical build to move up in weight and maintain his conditioning.

If anyone believes Bob Arum's version of this story, I am selling timeshares on the moon dirt cheap. There is no way they would turn down a fight with Tim Bradley to fight Lamont Peterson unless they never wanted to fight Bradley from the beginning. If Shaw never got back to him with an offer, he would have called Shaw if he wanted him that badly. This behavior is typical of Bob Arum, putting his fighter in the ring with the easiest "credible" fight he can find instead of the best opponent (ex: Pacquaio-Diaz instead of Pac-Joel Casamayor, Pac-Nate Campbell, Pac-Marquez III or Pac-Juan Diaz; and Pac-Clottey instead of Pac-Mosley or Pac-Mayweather).

Clottey because Mosley was to fight Berto but after Pac-Clottey was signed Berto back off from fighting Mosley cause of earthquake in Haiti. Besides no one has dominated or KO Clottey in any fight.

If Pac-Joel Casamayor happened and Pac won convincingly. Pac still will not get credit cause people will say he fought an old shot fighter.

If Marquez would not face Khan at 140 cause of a mismatch how much more with Pac.

Nate Campbell could not stay in 135 and is not competitive at 140.

Juan diaz couldn't beat Paulie Malignaggi at even a catch weight in LWW who lost to Hatton who is considered a lousy boxer who lost to Pac in two rounds.
