In fact, other than Pacquaio which fighter has a better resume than Mayweather under the age of 35?

I should tell you to think about what you're saying but I'm going to go ahead and explain it to you.

If he said under 33 that would still exclude JMM because 36 exceeds 33.

Anyway with Mayweather it's clear that people take his opposition into consideration and how dominant he was in his fights. Carl Froch is an undefeated fighter but he has looked poor in his fights and hasn't faced top opposition.

People can say what they want but at 130lb and 135lb Floyd was dominant. He then moved up the weight classes winning titles in various divisions. Beating DLH at 154lbs.

It's not exactly hard to see why he's rated highly, even if he lost in his next match things wouldn't change.

Pacquiao is someone already eclipsing Mayweather's popularity. Unlike him, Pacquiao has faced the best fighters in the weight divisions and have won conclusively.

How does Pacquiao taking on Cotto makes him to have faced the best WW's? what about SSM?, ODH is no WW Champion, Hatton is at 140 lbs and not UNDEFEATED...

IMO Pac vs PBF is already planned and the cancelation was a way to get some more money out of that rivalry from an extra fight...PBF taking on SSM shows you he's going to fight the best out there...He did it at the time when he fought 2 WW champions, even if you discredit them now, they WERE Champions.

PAC is great, as everybody knows, but in IMO hasn't fought the best WW's because he hasn't fought PBF, not the other way around, PAC is new to WW.

Youre right, Pac is new to the WW,but his opponents are better than Floyds.Do you really believe Judah and Baldomir were better than Cotto and Clottey?Yes Hatton was not undefeated but so were many other great fighters.i'm not calling Hatton a great or anything, its just that youre emphasizing too much on the undefeated.Don't get me wrong, Floyd is a great fighter but he hasn't fought the best WW either.
