    Miguel Cotto in the Cage!

Puerto Rican boxing super star and former three-time world champion Miguel Cotto recently visited the training camp for MMA stars Kurt Pellegrino and Miguel Torres in Belmar, NJ, for a shooting for sponsor Ecko TV. Miguel taught some boxing skills and techniques to add to their arsenal and use in their upcoming fights in March. “It was a great experience working out with Kurt and Miguel . We had a fantastic sparring session,” Cotto said. UFC lightweight contender Kurt Pellegrino, who will be fighting on March 27th added, “It was a real honor for me having Miguel Cotto in my training camp. I learned real boxing techniques.” Top WEC fighter and former lightweight champion Miguel Torres who will be fighting on March 6th said, “It was a pleasure sparring with my favorite boxer and learning brilliant boxing moves from him.”

It was a Marc Ecko promotional thing. To attempt to glean how Cotto would perform in MMA from that is ridiculous.

However, if any current top boxer were to go to MMA I think Cintron would fair best with his strong wrestling background and 1 punch KO power and long reach.

Cotto would destroy these guys in the ring.

Cotto is a true warrior that can definitely be a crossover star if he truly wanted to.

Get Cotto some ground game and he'd put a beatdown on anyone in the UFC at his weight.
