    Winky was Great !!! BUT....

I watched Winky vs Tito on saturday and it was a good fight. I was really cautious about spending that $50 bones considering it was just me and my girlfriend watching. The fight was actually boring. I don't know if you noticed but there were times in the fight where you could hear a pin drop in the audience. Who pays $50 to watch two fighters throw jabs. Sorry, It will not happen again. Props to Winky. His boxing style is great. Super Quick jab, Impenetrable Defense. But BORING...
I think he wins against most if not all fighters he faces but I ain't paying $50 to see it NO MORE! Winky some advice. Open it up a bit!!! Commit to your punches and at least try to knock em out!!!

Dude Winky is a great fighter but if you are with friends or family and trying to get them interested in boxing a Winky fight isnt the best!! Id suggest a nice Thunder gatti fight!! Watching him will turn a ******* pacifist into alover of the sport

Like I Said In One Of My Other Post, I Dont Really See Winky Being A "superstar" Because Of His Style, People Who Love Boxing As Much As Some Of The People On Here Do, Can Appreciate What Winky Does In The Ring. But The General Public Cant And Wont Pay To See It. For Example I Was Watching The Fight With About 8 Other Guys And Most Of Them Thought The Fight Was Boring And A Waste Of Time.

The Problem is that Winky was the only one boxing. I am still trying to understand what Trinidad was doing.

Yes 2 Boxers actually boxing, is good to watch.

This was not the case on Saturday.

Hahah, Winky made 4 million on the fight and with the W next to his name will come many more millions, do you think he cares what the people think about his style? As long as he gets the W, he won't care. Similiar to John Ruiz although John Ruiz is REALLY BORING and one dirty ass *****. Plus, if your a true boxing fan, you'd appreciate Winky's style more. I just loved how he proves you don't need power to be great in boxing.

Yeah, that is definitely true. But it is the same for almost all of his fights.(BORING!) I am not downing the guy, but there is a reason why he has languished in obscurity. Most people would take a nap rather than watch his fights. If you want to appeal to only boxing purists then you will probably end up with a decent FridayNightFights audience. Very few people would pay to see him fight someone other than a marquee name...
I see why folks don't want to fight him. If I take a risk and fight you then you have to take a risk and open it up a little bit...
Zab boxed great but he opened it up to get the knockout!
