    idk why ppl are complaining. it will make less money yes but unless you were expecting a check from this fight who gives a ****?

    one of the reasons boxing has been declining is that there are never any big fights set in other cities than vegas and NYC. speaking of detroit, back in the day hearns used to have some huge fights there in front of his home town fans. michigan are still producing top class fighters but when is the last time u saw james toney or floyd mayweather fight at home? floyd fought at home against ndou, i think thats the last time.

    here we have two out of towners but its a title fight between a young champion and a former champion, should bring some excitement to a true boxing city which is nothing but positive for the game.

    some of u act like it will be held in a high school gym lol, im sure they will find a good arena and detroit ppl love their boxing so if they put togheter a decent undercard it should sell fine.
