Remember the talks of Tito vs Jones Jr 175lbs?

I was just watching Tito/Wright and remember the talks of Tito vs Jones Jr after Tito disposes of Hopkins. Some were even picking Tito to KO Jones. He had so much momentum every weight class he moved up and rightfully so. When thinking about it now, Tito probably would have been murdered in the ring at that time by 175lbs Jones and P4P at 160lb would be as well.

No I am not a Tito hater, actually a fan of his. Just saying what's on my mind.

Well this is a no brainer after the Hopkins fight, at the time it seemed possible, now you look back and act all smart, but at the time he was going into the fight with Hopkins he was all that was in the way for this to happen, which meant if Trinidad had won, the Roy Jones fight would of been made right after.

honestly because I am watching the fight for the first time right now...so I guess every Titoesque thing that comes up I end up posting...I am doing what everyone including yourselves do at some point or anothing...

and no I am not trying to act all smart...I was just thinking about the momentum Tito had before Hopkins and just thinking back to how Jones may have really beaten him badly had they fought

Worse thing Jones could of done to Trinidad is KO him, and that aint **** in boxing.

              hmm

I would feel sorry for Tito if he ever tried to fight Jones in their primes. Wow. Jones would have stopped Tito definitely.

Don't nag on Tyrant for postinghis thoughts. Tito losing is big in the boxing world so people are going to talk. He's not being disrespectful.

Tito had that momentum before Hopkins, because he made it for himself. He was a fascinating fighter who KNOCKED his opponents out and his resume before Hopkins would make anyone lick their chops.

Jones vs Tito is out of this world and I would have never imagined it.

Jones is just the bigger man. Coming from 147 to 175 is a bigger deal then 175 to heavyweight even. The power differencial is just so much higher.

We all know though that Tito isnt even a natural middleweight, possibly a junior at best.

If you want to **** with the big boys (175) you better have the complete package, Ray Robinson attempted and stopped because of 104 degree temperatures. But he was the real deal complete package fighter. Tito is not....Roy would MURDER Tito at any weight, he is just physically to big.

Super-People are looking at this loss like Tito was overhyped garbage and Winky is trash. Give Winky props as a great boxer and give Tito his props.

Tito is no one hit wonder.

                  hmm

I agree. I hate it when people try to degrade great fighters after a bad loss. **** happens. Styles make fights. Wright is a very good boxer and even a bit bigger than Tito. Reid and Whitaker were good boxers too but Tito had what it took to get beat them. Wright was just better than those guys even and at a higher weight.

I never tried to degrade Winky's win or Tito as a fighter

Winky is just on top of his game and so confident at this point especially after Mosley, has a great jab and mentality in the ring, and the perfect style and great defense...

Tito is a great fighter with limitations, but a great fighter who has done wonders for the sport...I don't see how anyone can hate on him
