Right. So why is Valero calling out someone who is a champion and then fighting that guy's left overs? That's how you become a big name? I don't get it.

I understand getting your feet wet in a new division, but Valero should still fight someone on a winning streak or else keep his ass at 135. I'm about to retire from the Caveman Crew because I don't like the way the guy is acting.
hes comin out from a loss.but he didnt get koed or whatever.its only 1 lose, dont think it would matter when they will clash.after all its valero's debut as a jww,so i dont expect him to fight big names already.by the way Paterson is not ****,he did well against Bradley.that excuse is dumb.

Valero would be better off if he fought someone like Zab Judah or even that guy who just beat Vivian Harris. It's just bad fighting guys coming off losses, and I don't know why people excuse it. I guess it only applies to Floyd.

IDK what happened with Bradley/Valero talks really but Valero would be very lucky to get a fight with a proven guy like that in a division he had never even competed in before.

Valero don't give a ****. He will fight any of them.

I hate that ****** grunting Peterson does with every punch.

Yeah, we get it you hit the guy, now stfu.

LOL. Peterson's not bad, that just annoys me for some reason.

I don't think he can deal with the Caveman's handspeed when Cavey lets his hands go.

He'll scare Peterson out of the ring!

Would you want this man coming after you?

Where have we seen this before with Top Rank?

They thought Mayweather wouldn't accept a 50-50 purse split. But he did. They thought Mayweather wouldn't accept using 8 oz gloves. But he did. They thought Mayweather wouldn't accept the $10 million weight penalty. But he did.

It's the way Bob Arum negotiates in order to avoid certain fights while not looking like he's avoiding them. Unfortunately for him sometimes it backfires and his intentions become quite transparent.

well don't you think a lot of the hype around Valero comes from his record (all wins by kayo?)

so fair or not, that's where Edwin's hype comes from.

and as for Lamont, he definetly has ability + talent but looking at his resume, still very disappointing at the lack of quality fighters he's fought.

as for Lamont is he really going to take this fight vs Valero, because I thought there were talks of Peterson potentially meeting Kendall Holt in June.
