Gilberto Keb Bass outclassed, outboxed and stopped Omar Soto. Keb picked off Soto with long jabs and powerful straight rights, then switching to the body to slow his opponent down. Soto weathered a blitz in round three. But Keb nearly beheaded him in the next round, connecting at will , until the referee called a halt to the walloping at two minutes forty seconds. Espadas Jr. gave it a good run for years, maybe it's time he thought about hangimg up the gloves.

That fight summary was terrible, Blears made it seem as if Rojas didn't befuddle and dominate Espadas.

Rojas outmaneuvered, outhustled, and outclassed Espadas throughout the 12 rounds. Rojas would easily lead or counter Espadas while getting out of the way of return fire. He looked Gamboa fast.

Elio dominated so much so that Israel Vazquez (who was working as a ringside analyst) turned to Don King in the 7th or 8th round and asked him what he thinks of a Rojas-Vazquez fight.

          I agree.
          Rojas dominated Espadas Jr.
          Amazing performance by Elio.
Guty Espadas Jr. was tough and never gave up, but that's about all he had going for him in that fight.
The judges had it spot on with 120-108 and 2x 119-109.

Good to see Rojas didn't get robbed in Mexico again. I still don't understand why King would send him to Mexico to defend HIS world title against a hometown fighter. Especially after Rojas was robbed in a title eliminator there once already and it cost him a shot against Jorge Linares.

I'm downloading this fight right now, can't wait to watch it!

Rojas has sick skills. He's been one of my favorite boxers for a while now, since I seen him fight in NY on the Tito-Mayorga undercard in like his 3rd or 4th fight. I just wish Don King did a better job promoting him. If he was with Top Rank, he would probably be a star, or at least muuuuuch more well known.

Now I want to see Rojas vs. Chris John or a fight with Daniel Ponce De Leon would be fun too. They should put this on the undercard of Mayweather-Mosley along with Alvarez-Hatton that should be a fun card.

This decision was terrible. Guty espadas should have won or at least a draw. I was there, i watched it live. Rojas was hugging like a girl for half the fight. Rojas was running. Guty was the attacker. Guty was not running. Boxers like rojas are making boxing a boring sport. Hugging, running, holding.

Robbed? Guty was robbed. Rojas hugged and ran for half the fight. Guty was the aggressor. Guty was landed good shots but couldnŽt land more because the girl Rojas was hugging. Why was the fight in Mexico?? In The Yucatan peninsula to be exact, next to Cuba. IŽll tell you why: Because we have the necessary infrastructure and fans. The Dominican Republic doesnŽt.
