He beat Pascal in a war. Knocked out Jermain Taylor. And had Dirrell running scared for 12 rounds...although maybe Dirrell still won the fight.

He is a rock, and can win fights on pure grit and determination.

Froch is an unusual fighter. He does not do anything amazingly well but has a whole heap of intangibles that he brings to the table that make him a winner. He has a Jack Sharkey style of boxing but a poor defence and takes too many shots but has a great chin and always turns up in great condition. He is a heavy handed hitter a good thinker in the ring that seems to find a way of working out his opponent and finding a way to win. The main thing I like about him is that he steps up and backs his mouth. He does not duck tough fights and behaves like a champion should. He is not a protected champion looking for cherry picked opponents. I can see Ward and Abraham beating him but they will have to work hard to drag out the win. Dirrell showed how a slick boxer can cause him problems and Ward is better than Dirrell. Abraham is the heaviest hitter in the tournament and despite having a great chin I don't see him being able to eat up too many heavy shots . The Kessler fight is a pick em 50 50 fight-but I feel Froch will just edge it. If and when Froch loses he will go out on his shield.

I personally don't like him, i think he's got a really crappy boxing style full of holes, he got lucky with Direll. He isn't going far in the tourney. He's ****y. i don't like his fighting style or his personality.

On the other hand, he's got a hard up-jab that can knock somebody down, and he has detirmination and some other good qualities a boxer has. Stamina, speed, power..but a piss-poor defense and an attitude that will ruin him.
