The problem with Taylor is that he would pull straight back and put his gloves up and I'm not even sure he was able to see what angle the punches were coming from, essentially making him a sitting duck at times. I want to go back and watch the Froch fight again to verify this but I think Dirrell does the smart thing of pulling off to the side and Abraham is the type of guy that needs in feet set with his opponent right in front so that could cause problems for Abraham.

I think Taylor is better at keeping the opponent at bay with the jab then Dirrel is. Froch hit Dirrel even though Dirrel was constantly on his backfoot. It's not like a punch didn't land on him. I think Abraham will find him eventually. If he tries to run like he did against Froch i think Abraham will just run in and unload. Dirrel got to hit Abraham with something better then a flickering jab to keep him off him.
