Calzaghe dominated one division his whole career, so he has too many bums on his resume for it to be better than Floyd's. That's the drawback of dominating a division for an extended period of time, you can't help but fight bums if those are your mandatories.
Floyd has moved up through divisions, and has really good names on his resume.Comment

I know. But the fact that people want answers to this genuine query and questions shows that PBF and JC are very similar in being remembered wise.
Once they both have retired. SOme may forget JC, and it could be the same with Floyd as well.
If the voices of boxing ie, Bert Sugar, Bernstein, etc dont talk about Jc and FLoyd they will suffer the consequences.Comment

Agree, not only that but Mayweather has also fought a more diverse number of styles to Calzaghe, i mean who on Joe's record is a technically good fighter pre Hopkins ?
Eubank was a good fighter but he was not what i would consider technically sound, far from it.
Kessler is not technically sound either he is just conventional, he goes back in a straight line when attacked, attacks in straight lines, fights with his head in the air, and needs you to be stationary target before he cant get off. No offence to the Kessler fans but he is a bit of a one dimensional robot.
Hopkins was past it when Joe fought him and we saw the trouble a technically sound fighter was able to give him, thats one of the main reservations i have about Joe Calzaghe, i dont think he is good enough to deal with a technically sound (elite) fighter in their prime.Comment
