Your Guru knows Skill's pay the brill's but back around 04-05

Your Guru would have picked Kostya Tyszu to beat Mayweather. He was great, he had skill, his speed was vastly underated and he wasnt scared to be dirty when it went into the trenches. Your Guru knows how good Floyd is aswell as little Manny but at 140 back then. Floyd wasnt the man. The Great Aussie was.

And another thing! Non-Guru's. Stop ****in underating Kostya just because of the Hatton loss. I still see some of you simple minded fans using that dumb triangle theory, you beat him then he must lose easy to that other guy. You ****** cvnts are all thats wrong with boxing. I guarentee most pricks who want to talk in this thread either think Mosley is old and shot. Clottey aint elite and Hopkins was shot to peices when Calzaghe beat him.

Grow ****in up and accept whats ****in obvious.

The Guru has now spoke his mind on what is wrong with boxing on BS.com

    PS.

Stop ****in nuthugging Valero. I love him too but lets wait and see. Id hate you **** riders to build him into the next Jeff Lacy.

    PS to the PS

    Amir Khan can ****in fight!

I woulda liked to see Tszyu get a big fight, despite that loss to Hatton he was looking real sharp at that point in his career.

Bad style matchup. and bad hometown ref. Was a waste, he coulda made a lot better account of himself against better fighters.

It was not a home town ref!

Kostya was great but he could be ruff just like Hatton could hold. The ref let then both go hard and Hatton came out on top. Lets not forget who threw the first fouls in the fghts. For all KT was great he threw the low blow combos better than Golota coulda dreamed of.

I dont complain......Greats deal with that. IMHO Hatton was just the better man.

Haven't seen the fight since live, and I wouldn't say that is why Hatton won, but I think Hatton always enjoyed a certain liberty on rough stuff in England that he didn't get in the states.

Wasn't really my main point, I would say it was youth, determination and just the right style that Hatton won with.

At any rate, Tszyu was more cerebral than physical at that point in his career, and I would have liked to see him fight Floyd, where that type of fight was more suited. I don't think Tszyu had the physical strength left at that point in his career to wrestle a young buck like Hatton all night.

The Guru notices a real fan but has to agree to disagree. Check out the Hurtado fight aswell as the first Sharmba fight. Kostya was a mean SOB. I just feel the Manchester Hitman would have walked through a brick wall that night. Floyd and Pacman would probably UD but IMO that must be the most underated win in boxing in recent years. Hatton went from the most overrated to the most underated in the space of 18 months. I think he was a 4/1 underdog. That cannot be denied.

I get what you're saying, and I can agree to an extent. I think Hatton was at his best in Manchester. Refs for one, but I would agree as a fighter too, and that night he was at his zenith.

That is a fantastic word and one call tell you know your stuff and watched the fight without bias.

Just me persinaly. I think Ricky Hatton was an officer and a gentleman. For me he was great but i like to think i back my argument up. Maybe he wasnt. The HO, time will tell. For me......Ricky on his day was great.

so much wrong in this thread..

The Guru its obvious ur a hatton fanboy but KT was shot when they fought. KT in his prime without hometown ref would have destroyed Hatton easier than Floyd or Pac.

and Floyd never wanted any piece of KT. just because somebody says "Yea i want to fight a,b,c" doesnt mean he isnt ducking em. wake the **** up.
