Say what you want about HATTON but he went down LIKE A WARRIOR!!!!

The thing that kills me is people don't look at his body of work.
Sure he got blasted by Pac, but man he had a gutsy run being 5'6 with a short reach.
He couldn't afford to backpedal. He couldn't even pretend to be cute.
But of course people remember big failures, because they weren't fans when he had his biggest successes.Comment

I agree, he deserves respect.
Ricky Hatton was a warrior and a talented boxer too. In 47 fights he only lost twice, both times to fighters rated p4p #1 at the time.Last edited by The Hammer; 02-20-2010, 12:25 AM.Comment

Real good fighters? VInce fought them all.
Are you gonna sit here and pretend Tsyzu wasn't wrecking people and feared before Hatton got him?Comment

are you kidding me? His KO% was about 75%, he's one of the best LWWs ever, seriously mate, get your facts straight. There is no way Phillips could have done that again. It's alright though, you're only 19 so i don't hold it against you.Comment

He was 12 when Tszyu administered the first beatdown on Mitchell.
14 most likely during the second.
I suspect when he was growing Tszyu was inactive because he wasn't fighting that much so he never got the chance to see him live.Comment
