Good style matchup for Cotto. If he is half the fighter he used to be will win.

I think it'll be another glorified sparring session for Cotto and it still won't tell us anything about Cotto that we already don't know. He always does his best against non aggressive punchless boxers. We already know this.

Foreman will be tough, but i think 154 for Cotto is going to be good for him. less tippy toe action (movement) and more concentrated power punching. I have to go back and see more of Foreman to really make a judgement call, but Cotto is one of my favs so i'll root for him to make a successful transition into light middle.

It all depends on how Cotto carries the weight. Most people lose punching power moving up. Most people lose speed. Most people have slower reflexes. And Foreman is going to be used to a bigger punch because of the naturally bigger guys he fights at that weight. I can see a way either guy can win, but I am positive it wont be a walk for either guy.

i'm surprised people seem to think this is paulie and cotto all over again. foreman can't punch at his weight, but he's still a lot stronger than paulie. cotto's going to be a lot slower than he was at 140 when he just walked paulie down, and he'll have a harder time eating foreman's punches after the fights he's been in. unless foreman can work a miracle and bring back cotto's defense and body punching this is nowhere near as easy as the malignaggi fight.

If Cotto regains his old form he'll win. But I just don't like him going up in weight against a difficult style first fight after taking a beating.

Where's the difficult style. Foreman is just average all across the board. Cotto couldn't ask for an easier title fight.
