          WTF, indeed??

Seems silly to me, that guy sells tickets like nobodies business. He is a good fighter who is just short of the very best in his division. I can't believe he has made enough money for a life time to hang em' up - and he probably could.

I wouldn't quit if I were Bernard. Nor, do I think he should be being encouraged to do so.

He would have earned £100,000 for fighting Rendell Munroe in Dublin apparently. Who would turn down that kind of money? Rendell is not a particularly dangerous fight for Dunne - good boxer but not a ****er.

I don't get it. I know it's a dangerous old sport but Dunne shouldn't be cutting his losses. He is no way shop-worn.

his heart must not have been in it any more. didnt watch the late late show (irish chat show, he was a guest) tonight so dont know what he said, but going by that statement he said he didnt want to take his fans money just to line his pockets.

Got to give the man credit for that. I thought he'd a few euro level fights in him, and would've loved to see him fight Munroe.

Am shocked!!! But i admire him for it because he could have still be fighting and making money off his fans and in doing so lying to his fans that he can still cut it at the top when in fact he couldnt anymore.

I couldnt believe it he is one of my ffavourite boxer he is a warrior he went through bumps in his career like against Kiko Martinez and came back with heart of a lion to beat Ricardo Cordoba. But since the Poonsawat fight the interview he did like 2 weeks after he looked like a different person and didnt look commited to boxing but i know he'll be back, he is not the type of person to stay away from the sport
