Dude Vitali was in a hell of state, there is just no way he could of continued. Lewis would have punished Vitali eventually with that nasty cut. However if Vitali wasn't in such a state then id agree he could have went on to win the fight but seriously it looked as though he just got mauled by a pitbull..

I'm not saying Vitali wasn't holding his own, but he was wounded and Lewis would have continued to take full advantage of that.

Just look at the last 15 seconds of the 6th round. Vitali took two shots in the inside and desesperatly hold Lewis to finish the round. I'm not saying Lewis would have won. I'm just saying that you guys should stop acting like if Vitali was totally ok beside his cut.

Lewis was in bad shape and exhausted to boot. He was the one landing big punches before the stoppage though so how do you know Vitali's eye wouldn't have been ripped up even worse in the next round?

Ok true but it was still pretty bad. Also, if you take into consideration it was only the 6th round to, had it went on longer the damage substained could have gotten even more ugly. Lewis hits hard to, i thought it was a decent stoppage to be fair. Yes Lewis wasn't winning the fight but seriously another 6 rounds Vitali would not have been able to see what so ever let alone what he was able to see from round 6. im not arguing the stoppage, I agree too it was a fair and right stoppage. Im just saying vitali woulda gotten in that ass had he gotten a few more rounds in.

I think lennox is a ***** for not giving him a rematch. You could tell when lewis was talkin in the post interview dude was like "**** this im never lookin at this guy again"
