im not even sure floyd edges toney and hopkins in this era. i damn sure wouldnt put him over pep, whitaker, locche, benitez etc just to name a few all time greats.

floyd's the most skilled fighter boxing has ever produced, period---all around, complex, skilled, whatever you want to call it, floyd is the best, period---floyd has dominated top competition----like they weren't top competition, and his punches landed vs punches landed against him ratio has been the best since 2000---his defense is the best of his era, bar none---he has a more complex defense than sweet pea ever had---pea had great upperbody movement---but floyd is a better counterpuncher, better inside fighter defensively, fights better and uses the ropes better to avoid punches, and he blocks punches much better and counters off of them also---pea had a sweet defense, but floyd's d is better, no matter how you look at it---i mean has made jmm, sosa and other fighter lose their balance, slip, fall, just by slipping their punches or blocking their punches---that brilliance---floyd mayweather jr in the ring is all around brilliance---
