Shame, he was a good warrior, the sport will miss him, wish him all the best for the future.

He had a hell of heart and fought anybody,
      His fights where always crazy....
He had two bad KO's, he has a family and kids,
He is doing the right thing,
      He will never forgotten.
He is offically announcing it tonight on the irish Late Late show
very true. He was a throwback fighter and why so many fans enjoyed his style.

his amatuer record was second to none too.

I really don't understand how people rate this Dunne-Cordoba fight so highly.

          It was violent, yes.

However, it was two light punchers who look sloppy as hell when they punch.

I'll take Marquez-Diaz or Williams-Martinez over it any day.

That was a hell of a fight but i'll agree the Dunne one tipped it. The way it finished was simply amazing.

He had balls no doubt, When he beat Cordoba he didnt have to immediately fight Poonswatt, a lot of people knew poonswatt was dangerous and his promoter brian peters aswell as his trainers urged him to take another fight before he got in the ring with him,
But Bernard didnt wanna hear it, he went straight for Poonswatt,
he was a true warrior and fought anyone which is rare in boxing today

He got 100% respect from me for fighting Poonsawat as his first defence. he could of set up a massive fight with Munroe and earned plenty of money. His heart ruled his head and he was a cracking 3rounded fight.....probaly watched on the ****test stream known to the internet mind.

Think someone gave me the stream on here. If I remember correctly it looked like the was shots coming from the other side of the ring and Poonsawat's arms looked like Hulk Hogans.
