Comments Thread For: Carlos Quintana Ready To Lift Andre Berto's WBC Title

With no fights at 154-pounds, Carlos Quintana is ready to move down to the weight class where he became a world champion. One April 10, Quintana will challenge undefeated Andre Berto for the WBC welterweight title. Quintana was trying to land a title shot at junior middleweight but the opportunities were not there.

great fight. lets see if berto can do a better job of adapting to fighting a southpaw this time, or if quintana can step up his game and pull of an upset. 2 good abd hungry fighters who both need to make a statement, make for a great fight.

i got berto by TKO, but quintana is a very live underdog.

He didn't get any big fights at 154 because he didn't accomplish nothing at that weight nobody was ducking Carlos Quintana. Berto wins a wide UD.

Interesting matchup, i know it's gotta be hard to lose that many family members for berto and hopefully he can bounce back strong , also maybe hard for el Indio to make weight without struggling, but he has little less than 2 months,
