The binding commitments as champion Ivan Calderon of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) in the 108 pounds could take scuttle his proposal unification planned for April.
According to a communication that OMB issued yesterday, the representatives of fighter guaynabeño have 20 days to reach a contract agreement with the holder of interim managers, Johnriel Casimero, to whom Calderón must defend the title.
The letter, endorsed by Attorney Luis Batista Salas, founder of the WBO president and current chairman of the Championship Committee of the organism, indicating that the property owner must stand before the interim in 120 days or less.
Casimero The Filipino won the interim belt by knocking out Cesar Canchila in 11 rounds, 19 December, in Nicaragua. Therefore, the fight should be on or before April 19.

However, the PR Best Boxing, which promotes Calderon, has other plans. At the time, negotiate a unification against Colombian Carlos Tamara, champion of the International Boxing Federation, or the Mexican Giovani Segura, the World Boxing Association.
"Ivan has superchampion recognition of OMB, and made a mandatory defense in September 12 vs. Rodel Mayol," said Peter Rivera yesterday, vice president of PR Best Boxing, "so I think that is enough time before his next mandatory defense.
At the time, the company looks at three possibilities.
"They (the representatives of Segura) contacted us and made us an offer to fight in Mexico on the eighth of May," said Rivera. "We're also talking to people from Tamara," said Rivera.
"Sampson (Lewkowicz, safety representatives) at one time told us that there was little interest in the fight with Calderon," Rivera said.
"But he comes to Puerto Rico for the fight of Vazquez and Sonson and we will meet," he said. "In a few days, we will define (next steps)."
