Boxing Blueprints: how to predict fights

I came across this idea while watching a vid on youtube. The idea is if you want to be able to predict the outcome of a fight between boxers A and B you find a fight where opponents with styles similar to A and B have faced off
Hopefully this thread will stay active for a while, so we can see how the predicted fights played out

    Old Fights:

    Mayweather vs Hatton
Blueprint: Toney vs Charles Williams, Mayweather vs Chavez
In both of these fights, the less skilled fighter(Williams/Chavez) tried to win by outhustling the more skilled fighter (Toney/May) and as they got tired the fight took place in the middle of the ring and they were koed.
    Prediction: Mayweather by KO
    Result: Mayweather by KO

    Calzaghe vs Hopkins:
Blueprint: Calzaghe vs Bika, Calzaghe vs Eubank, Hopkins vs Taylor
The Bika fight showed how Calzaghe coped with a opponent that is willing to use dirty tricks, and the way that Calzaghe was able to adapt and win by outworking Bika. The Eubank fight was a fight where Calzaghe faced a past prime counter puncher and we got to see how he coped with an opponent who couldnt match his output but was a much bigger puncher, Taylor Hopkins showed that Hopkins had trouble with fighters with faster hands. Taking this all into account I predicted Calzaghe by ud.
    Prediction: Calzaghe by UD
    Result: Calzaghe by SD

    Future fights:

    Dirrel vs Abraham:
Blueprint: Froch vs Dirrell, Clottey vs Judah
In this fight we got to see how Dirrell dealt with a formidable fighter who kept coming forward. If you think of Abraham as an improved version of Froch, with better handspeed, footwork and defence then I see this fight playing out with Dirrell winning the early rounds but getting slowly worn down and koed late in the fight.
Prediction: Abraham probably by late ko
Variables: Can someone recommend me a fight where Abraham fights a fleetfooted fighter?

    Mosley vs Mayweather:
Blueprint: The first 6 rounds of Oscar vs Mosley II
In this fight we got to see how Mosley coped with a boxer. Oscar using his jab and lateral movement gave Mosley a lot of problems, factoring the fact that Mosley is much older and doesnt have the legs he used to have I see Mayweather using the same tactic and winning by a wide UD.
    Prediction: Mayweather by UD

If anyone has any blueprints to contribute for past fights and future fights they would be welcome.

EDIT:This list will get updated with the input from posters. Also I should of named this thread, "Trying to predict fights", instead.

The difference between Froch and Abraham is that Abraham has cement feet and isn't as mobile as Froch to be able to chase him around as easily. There's also a 5" inch or so height difference where as Froch and Dirrell basically had the same height and reach.

you cant really predict how a fight goes....for all you know such and such fighter can get KOd no matter how good defence or power they have everyone most probably will get caught one day...

We shall see. Dirrell will win the early rounds, but he will get broken down as the fight goes on. Unless he has somehow amazingly matured as a person between this fight and the Froch fight. I do believe he has the ability to win by outworking Abraham but I think it will come down to intangibles and he will eventully get broken down. Another Blueprint would be the Judah vs Clottey fight.

Froch got away with a lot of fouling and it's arguable whether he even won that fight. Abraham fights nothing like him and his low work rate and height/reach deficiencies mean that he will probably lose a fairly wide UD unless he can catch Dirrell with something.

If Mosley couldn't beat/catch Cotto over 2 years ago, he's not going to beat/catch Mayweather today. Props to Floyd for taking the fight, but I just don't see how Shane has any chance. Floyd by wide UD.

I had Dirrel winning by a couple of rounds, but we got to see how he dealt with the pressure of a bigger fighter.

                    Pacquiao vs Clottey:
                    Blueprint: Clottey vs Judah
If you think of Pac as an improved version of Judah, who can fight a 12 round fight and has better intangibles and footspeed, then I see this fight playing out the same way. With Pac outworking Clottey to a wide UD due partly to Clottey taking rounds off as he normally does. I dont think he will get koed as some people predict he is way tougher than any fighter Pac has faced before
                    Prediciton: Pac by UD
