I'm actually kidding, and I give him a pretty fair chance to win against Abraham based on styles...
I hope he is 100% when he gets in that ring...
Yeah i don't want hear any excuses that he couldn't run away from Arthur's Hammers because of his back.

hole place won't boo him out of the building so they won't influence the judges
decision and make him look real bad. And if he really is injured what kind of back
injury is going to get better in 2 or 3 weeks when i hurt my lower back training
it took almost 2 months to get better let alone go in to a ring with a guy who can break your ribs with a couple of body shots this hole thing sounds to fishy
          to me.
by your logic theres only one kind of back injury

what makes u think he injured his back the way you did?
what makes u think u can recuperate as fast as a prime athlete?

          nice first post LOL

Don't be surprised if Dirrell uses the back injury to bail out of the tournament. As the fight got closer I think he realized that the chance of him loosing this fight is fairly high and the same with the Ward fight. That means 3 loses in a row to a promising young fighter who i believe is/was not ready for this.

The "back injury" is up there with "rib injury" for most common excuses to reschedule a fight. A real back injury is what Vitali had and it puts you out of action for a very long time.

Haye had a "back injury" because he wanted to take on an easier opponent in Valuev. Mayweather had a "rib injury" because ticket sales stank.

The Fight Camp 360 showed that Dirrell is very immature and will do any silly thing to try and throw off the game of his opponent. The press conference Dirrell had with Froch is all you need to know about his personality.

Haye, Dirrell and Mayweather are only the lastest to pull out the [insert back or rib] injury to reschedule fights.

**** andre dirrell man!!! I think you are 100pct right. Except I think Gary shaw is the real driving force behind this. This is a small to begin with, only 2000 seats and I'm pretty sure at least 1500 of those would be filled by abataham fans. Shaw realized that this is not a "home" fight for dirrell And jn fact Arthur would enjoy a better reception here vs in Germany!!! They have to make this fight in so cal if they want to attract fans. Dirrell can't draw for **** unless it's in his backyard of Michigan and who wants to host a fight in dumphole? I'm so ****kkin mad!!! My boy Abraham was supposed to be fighting for the first time in front of his adouring so cal armenian fan base now dirrell pulls this ****! I don't believe it for a minute.

I don't think that there's much of a difference between German and SoCal fans of Abraham...he's a darling to both of them groups...though, IMO Shaw was pretty dump to believe to get a pro-Dirrell crowd anywhere near of California/Nevada...I called this from day 1 and thought Shaw would stick to Miami/NY but I guess he never thought much about the US-Armenian community being supporting AA this big - guess what...Shaw was underestimating the Armenians...I heard that even 300 German fans of AA secured tickets to the event in Palm Springs...must have been even more fans than Andre Dirrell would had enjoyed there...

Something fishy going on. Obviously they are trying to throw Abraham off. Maybe Dirrell needs more time to clean his system of inhancements. Maybe they heard about Arthur peaking early. I'm sorry but you don't pull a muscle while sparring and then before you even see a specialist you announce on a radio show that you're injured and need to postpone 2 weeks. I pull different muscles all the time while sparring most of those pains go away over night. Dirrell did'nt even try to sleep it off he just came right out and decided that he was going to be injured for 2 weeks. I can just picture Dirrell sparring with LHW's to get ready for Arthurs strength. Maybe he's not handling those punches very well yet.

Never had, never will...what lead him to his "good" showing vs. Froch was his athletic ability and Froch's inability to time, set up his punches...too bad for him that AA can time punches and is a master of anticipation...
