I've never seen either fight so I would watch it simply from hearing their names so much and being curious to see if they have any skill.

Good fight for Alvarez. Hatton does offer much in resistance but he brings a famous last name and people has heard of him by being Ricky's little brother and when he was being mention as a possible opponent for Mayweather.

If they rush this kid into a Mayweather fight, he's gonna be ruined. He should be fighting the Hatton's and Gomez' of the world and if he passes a couple of those tests Berto.
Thats true why the **** would canelo at 19 face mayweather at this stage?? Somebody from his team needs to get fired or he should get somebody else. I don't think he looked average specially in the late rounds it was just a slick boxer he fought the first ever and it was expected the kid is 19 he has alot of potential to be one of the top guys in the future but they shouldn't rush him they should get more slick opponents.

One thing i was impressed on the fight with alvarez was that he has a good chin, and is still strong in the late rounds and is able to adapt and go to plan b if necessary. The kid is 19 and has a great future ahead of him if he is not rushed too quickly like his team wants him too.

At this stage of course mayweather will beat him in the future it just won't happen by the time canelo becomes a top ww pbf will be retired or he will be old and washed up to have any meaning so alvarez vs pbf will never happen it will be a fantasy fight in the future when canelo is a top guy in the sport.

This undercard isn't gonna be good either. I like Alvarez, but Matt Hatton isn't tough enough to be Princess Diana's body guard.
