Obviously he's a good trainer and he will help to an extent but there's only so much he can do. Mayweather's amazing skills and smarts combined with the age difference are what makes the difference. Unless ****m has a time machine then there is a limit on how much he can improve Mosley.

I think the fact that the Margarito fight went amazingly well is good for their chemistry. Shane will follow his advices gladly. The other side of the medal is that they haven't been through tough moments together, and they sure will, when they face Mayweather.

All in all Richardson >>> Jack Mosley

I dont care about his age or layoff. He just got out an intense 8 week training camp. He wont be rusty.

It might be. ****m is a great trainer but his best pieces of work have come against basic fighters like Margarito and Kelly Pavlik (with Hopkins). I'd like to see what he does with Floyd's style.

Thats a good point. Not to mention Floyd is the best at that style and thats Shanes weakness.

That's bull**** Burner & U know it,1st of all a prime Oscar is the best fighter Mosley has ever faced, period!!Floyd escaped with a win over a clearly past it version, which was clear when little Stevie Forbes gave Oscar all he could handle the very next fight!!1 question for u,though,"do U really believe that Floyd would have beaten Oscar in top form"??If U believe so,why would U assume that,if he barely beat a faded version??

Yes it is overplayed and that is not to say that Mosley isn't hell of a fighter and Richardson isn't a hell of a trainer.

**** everybody saw in the Margarito fight when Richardson told Mosley to "swim without getting wet" Mosley had no idea what the hell he was talking about. That proves to me that they are still getting used to each other cause B-Hop would have known exactly what he meant. With only 1 min to give clear instructions little slang mishaps like that could mean a lot against PBF.

I also think Richardson can add years to Mosley's career with continued work.

he didnt barely beat a faded version you use your hate for Floyd and boxrec too easily

and Burner I agree here is why

Mosley- had been on record that he always knows how to beat Mexican fighters, had a guy he did not have to chase around, had a guy who was willing to go toe to toe with him, and had a guy who couldn't upset Mosley's rhythm

****m- is a good trainer and tactician but lets remember he arguably trains the smartest fighter in the world in Hopkins, Bouie was the lead trainer for most of Hopkins career, and has had some easy opposition to deal with.

it was a perfect storm on Jan 24th and it boosted everyone's stock who won that night
