Don't know why they parted ways, but Sr. doesn't really get along with his pupils.

Check the history: Dawson, Guzman, Mayweather, and now Hatton. In the 24/7 he was showing up late to training, hogging camera time, and it was just all ego. Not many fighters will be able to get along with that.

That don't matter. Roach had the perfect gameplan for Floyd, yet ODLH still couldn't beat him. Floyd Sr. had the perfect gameplan for Pacquiao, yet Hatton got ktfo.

A seasoned career defensive boxer going to an offensive oriented coach is a recipe for failure unless they click well.
