You know he got knocked out in the first round of his last fight?

He needs to take a step back in comp and regroup. Lorenzo isn't that bad of an opponent either, Rocky Martinez got a gift against him before he got the title.

Kelly? This is the guy who is 42 and got ko'd in the 2nd round last time out, right? Typical Linares opponent.
Linares is very talented but his promoters fed him mostly creampuffs the past several years, which is why the Salgado KO wasn't that big of a surprise. He needs new management if he's going to develop because they treat him the way Universum long treated Erdei

linares says that if they are professionals they have to stay in the gym and be in shape and ready for whenever they are presented with a date somebody should let linares know that not every boxers is catered to all their needs and wants and not all boxers have the world handed to them on a platter

Wow...That KO loss is now proving to be devastating to Linares's career. It'll be 2011 before he's considered an elite type guy again, and that's if he does some real **** in 2010.

I've always thought Linares was a hype job. But I at least thought he was talented enough to beat some top ten contenders from 126-130. However, the fact that he got blasted out by some mediocre Mexican fighter who went on to lose his next fight and now is now fighting Kevin Kelley of all guys confirms to me that this guy is a certified fuckin bum.
