It was an illegal shot, and he whooped Lacy and stole his soul in that fight straight up. Roy is much faster than Bhop and i don't think it will be easy for either one.

roy wants you to look at the trindad and lacy fights and believe he still has it in him, but look at dude's track record and seriously say with a straight face, he can beat even a 46 y.o. bernard hopkins.

i agree with reed, anything can happen in a boxing match, but roy's chances are nowhere near 50%. dude is coming in as a 3-1 underdog for a reason, and 3-1 is being gererous.

i got hopkins, and i'll give anybody 3-1 odds, that wants to take roy.

Hopkins isn't a killer at his stage either... in the last 17 months Bernard fought Enrique Ornelas and will be 45 1/2 years old.

Believe me, anything can go do in in this fight..

its funny roy has NO confidence whatsoever...at all.....

him being chinny sure as help doesnt help but im sure we all can agree roy doesnt have the worst chin period..Im not gonna put so much thought or observe his last fight that seriously, but roy is still fast as ****..imagine if roy had the confidence back that only he had before in heyday..

if roy SOMEHOW just thinks deep and mentally gets somewhere he may be able to just pull something off..hopkins aint as polished as before but i have a feeling we might see an old hopkins and a ****y jones and thats not a good thing if youre hopkins..

All roy needs to do is take a decent punch and be mentally fit and u just never know

look man, i know that Lacy wasn't ****, but the way Roy beat him with the handspeed is still impressive. His hands are still great, but his boxing skill was never great like that. Ornelas really ****** and Danny Green is much better than him. I really think Roy will pepper him. I mean, what do you think bhop is gonna do, slip the straights of Roy and come up with hooks? seriously, i see Roy having the easier night in figuring out Bhop.

Roy has fast hands, but no focus. This was made obvious during the Calzaghe and Green fights.

BHop will make him look horrendous. I give Roy a 15% chance.
